Romantic Hotels in Norte Region

Every part of our stay was brilliant. The staff couldn't do more for us and very friendly. We had booked a room with a private pool and it was fantastic, a completely relaxing little haven. We ate a few times in the evening at the restaurant which is a set daily menu of 3 courses and we also did the on-site wine tasting which I would highly recommend. The other thing we did was order the picnic one evening which was lovely, all freshly prepared and delivered in picnic baskets to our room. Perfect romantic and intimate couples holiday!

We had a great view of the river from our room. The gardens were a lovely place to relax in the afternoon with a bottle of wine, overlooking the river. It was in a quiet location but close enough to walk to everything. We only had breakfast here one day as we wanted to explore other options.

Everything! Great location, spotlessly clean, very well furnished with luxury toiletries,beautiful quality bed linen and the large terrace with comfy furniture was great for relaxing in the sunshine. The fresh fruit, bottle of port and the delicious Portuguese custard tarts were a lovely welcome too. The owners Carolina and Miguel responded to us very quickly when we had an issue and nothing was too much bother, they were extremely helpful and friendly.

The property has lovely surroundings. Very green with plants of all sorts swimming pool jacuzzi barbeque facilities. Very peaceful lotand scenic view. We had a perfect stay and will definitely recommend. Love the wood stove very much. Gives us great warmth and comfort especially during those rainy and cold evenings. Facilities are excellent.

Location was perfect. Apartment, Jacuzzi and pool were clean and the bottle of wine welcome gift was a lovely surprise. Location was excellent. Information and support was very good.

A lovely welcome from the girls on reception - We were offered a delicious glass of Port when we arrived. We had a free upgrade to a room with a spectacular view . The hotel was VERY quiet in February. Dinner - Delicious prawn starter - and for me followed by local Trout - would have been better if it had been cooked at the last minute --- so rather dry and horrid soggy vegetables --- we ate our prawns too slowly! Very friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is exceptionally clean and the beds are so comfortable. We were a family of 4 and the rooms are well set up for accommodating young children. The rooms are cleaned daily and there is a lovely view and balcony to relax. The breakfast is a good choice and refreshed regularly through the morning sitting. We did the evening buffet one night and this was also nice and good value for money. The spa is a an added bonus with pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi!!

Spent a few nights here for our honeymoon. First the team were great, always so friendly and accommodating including giving us recommendations for food and activities. Breakfast was lovely, lots of options to choose from. Our junior suite was luxury - light, spacious and possibly the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on! Would defo come back on our next trip to Portugal

My boyfriend and I agreed that this was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in (and we travel a lot!). The views are insanely beautiful and you can stare at it from the lounge chairs by the pool all day long. The food was really great, with fresh produce on site (amazing tomatoes!). The wine was really great and was provided at great prices in the restaurant. Such a relaxing and romantic place! The room we had was small but nicely done.
