View over the lake. Hosts were were very kind! The lodge has a really nivce livingroom in which you can relax. We has a super nice room with a view on the lake. Host Marc tiold us a lot about history of the really old lodge! This is an unqique place which we will try to visit again once!

Unique property with such a warm welcome. The host went out of her way to organise food and a taxi for us in the morning - even though the taxi office was closed. We found the Dutch owners very hospitable and going out of their way to please guests. Atmosphere as well as food (we had moose stew...) were very good, rooms clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

This hotel dates back to the 19th century and enjoys a waterfront location. The Stora Torget square is within 100 metres, while Karlstad Central Station is a 5-minute walk away. I like the restaurant and the roof top. Also, I like the size of the room, which was big enough for 2 people. The breakfast was amazing and the view over the river was really nice. The location was very good.

Clarion Collection Hotel Drott lies directly opposite Karlstad Central Station. There is free sauna and hot tub access. Everything - location, staff, cleanliness, decor, and food. This was just a one night stop over for us and it was perfect from the minute we walked into the hotel & were greeted by staff. Our room rate included a dinner buffet and breakfast- both had items we appreciated. What a lovely stay!

Nevertheless Lena responded very quick and had prepared a huge breakfest with homemade applejuice. It was great and certainly on my next voyage i will come back!!
