We had the pleasure of spending two nights at *Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold* in Logarska Dolina, and the experience was absolutely wonderful! From the very first moment, we were impressed by the attention to detail—both inside the guesthouse and in the beautifully landscaped garden. Nestled near the forest, wooden figurines placed at the edge create a magical story, inviting children to explore and let their imagination roam. Our hosts were extremely kind, always attentive to guests’ needs, and their hospitality made every moment special. The food was delicious, prepared with local ingredients, turning each meal into a true journey through the region’s authentic flavors. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And the view from the garden toward the mountains was truly breathtaking—a perfect place for relaxation and contemplation. Additionally, the guesthouse provides a children’s play area, and even an outdoor fireplace. The location is ideal for exploring Logarska Dolina Park, and the proximity to attractions such as Kapela Kristusa Kralja and Sveti Duh added even more charm to our stay. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an oasis of tranquility, comfort, and authenticity in the heart of Slovenia..

All guest rooms come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, fridge, a kettle, a shower, a hairdryer and a wardrobe. The units at the inn are equipped with a private bathroom and bed linen. We had a wonderful stay at this place! We were offered a delicious welcome drink on our arrival of a homemade blueberry liquor. The breakfast was outstanding, including jams, yogurt, honey, meats, and cheese made by the hosts themselves. They also offered a cooked portion of eggs and pancakes. The coffee station was outstanding. If I could have the breakfast every day, I would! You can also pay separately to eat here for dinner. The menu features local cuts of many meats and was also absolutely delicious. Otherwise the bed was comfortable. Even though I saw only the two owners while here, it was supremely clean throughout the place. The view of the river and surrounding area is lovely, and each room features a balcony. If you have the opportunity to stay here, I highly recommend you take advantage of it!

The property is right beside the road infront of a supermarket and atm and has lots of parking spot( private as well as public). Host Sonja and Ziva were very helpful and welcoming. The room was big and had comfortable beds with air conditioning and fridge and coffee.The breakfast was delicious and homemade bread, cheese and jams were very refreshing. The place has lots of wooden carvings which is quite aesthetic.

Staff was so helpful and kind, everything is so very clean and neat, food is delicious, there is a lot to see and visit so we can't wait to come back!!
