Only 1 km from the centre of Maribor, the Črni Baron Pension Black Baron is located in Malečnik, 20 metres from a bus stop. Very nice hosts, greeted us with schnapps. Family rooms have an upstairs with 2 single beds and separate bathroom. Downstairs is a queen and 2nd bathroom. Nice linens. Small refrigerator in room. Wonderful breakfast. Apples and water to go! The meal in the restaurant was also good comfort food and huge portions.

Perfect views behind the corner, hilly and magical (especially after the rain) foggy clouds! Very tasty local wines and breakfast. Stuff well informed about gluten-free food.
