The Fernery Lodge & Spa ligt aan de voet van het wilde Tsitsikamma-gebergte en kijkt uit over een indrukwekkende waterval van 30 meter in de kloof van de Sanddrift-rivier. This lodge is absolutely amazing from the warm and comfortable rooms to the delicious food and the awesome staff who ensure your every need is met. I loved the views and everything about this stunning lodge. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Garden Route Game Lodge ligt in de buurt van Albertinia en biedt uitzicht op de bergrug van de Langeberg. This was our first safari, we are a family of 4 with two kids aged 2 and 5. The game lodge is extremely family friendly and amazing for kids. They thought of everything from the colouring pen to the couch next to the restaurant with the TV to allow the parents to have a peaceful dinner. The pool is heated and wonderful. The staff is great, you have a dedicated waiter fine you and a dedicated ranger, it feels like a butler service. The most amazing part of course is the game reserve, it's quite big, and during our two night stay and 4 safaris we got to see all the animals. Cherry on the cake was to encounter the cheetah who just hunted his meal for the night. The elephants for some particular reason like a specific space in the reserve, which happens to be not far from the restaurant, so you end up having breakfast every morning with the view in the 2 magnificent elephants. Our ranger, Janel, was amazing, extremely knowledgeable, super friendly and tried her best to make every safari unforgettable. Overall, 1 night is not enough, 2 nights is the minimum to enjoy the stay properly, otherwise if you want a more relaxed time you can go up to 3 nights and do a road trip on the garden route and visit the wonderful beaches around. Nestled at the eastern head of Knysna, this luxurious, pet-friendly hotel boasts a championship golf course, a restaurant and a spa. Free WiFi is provided. This was the best hotel in our garden route tour. Every detail has been looked after. The room had an amazing view, a wooden fire hot tub, fireplace, comfy bed, the people were very attentive and the pool and sauna were a very big plus. Highly recommended!

Pearl Moon Boutique Hotel bevindt zich in Wilderness, op 800 meter van het centrum van het dorp en dicht bij het strand. Lovely apartment, decorated very tastefully with African themes and a huge balcony with a river view. Carmina was a wonderful host.

Archrock Resort biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op zee en een eigen barbecue. Het ligt aan het Keurboomstrand, op 14 km van de Plettenbergbaai en op 5 km van de Keurboomsrivier. One of our favorite places and highlight in the garden route. Best location in Plettenberg and lovely terrace with the most amazing view. Lots of dolphins playing around in front of the property.

Het Sea La Vie Beach House is gelegen in Wilderness in de provincie West-Kaap, op 44 km van Knysna, en beschikt over een barbecue, een terras en een eigen bar. Janine the owner was absolutely fantastic. Her guesthouse is sparkling clean, stunning, beautifully kept, beautifully designed taking every detail to her creative attention. Her place is absolutely magnificent. Highly highly recommended. Walking distance from the wilderness restaurant and coffee center. Not too far from the stunning Kingfisher walking trail. Het Long Story Guest House biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi in een rustige woonwijk in Plettenberg Bay, op 5 minuten wandelen van het Robberg-strand. Breakfast was by far the best we had during our holiday. Owners happened to be there and were lovely too. The staff were amazing and always made sure we had whatever we needed.

Offering an outdoor pool, year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace, Lavandula Manor Self-Catering is set in Mossel Bay in the Western Cape Region, 300 metres from Bay View Shopping Centre. Perfect location, wonderful views. Room is superb with king bed and fine linen. Service is very good. Great garden and pool. 3rd time for us and we'll be back.

Moonshine on Whiskey Creek biedt accommodatie in houten hutten met eigen kookgelegenheid en ligt midden in het bos, tussen de bomen, net van de nationale weg N2 af en op 15 km van Plettenberg Bay. The chalet with the mountain view was really nice. The kitchen is well-equipped (air fryer...). The hosts were really helpful. The son of the owner helped us to kill a spider The sauna was nice, it can be warm in 1h. The location is really comfortable since it's on the side of the N2.
