Each villa is separate, completely private and each has its own private plunge pool and patio. Basil and Riet were marvelous hosts and their entire team was first-rate. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, the meals were really great, and the location across the river from Kruger was super. We went on one safari into Kruger, which was professional and fun, but we saw a whole host of wild animals just sitting on our porch (none were dangerous). It was both an exciting and relaxing stay.

The location in the middle of nature surrounded by wild animals. An elephant came eating from the tree right next to our tent. At night we could hear the hyenas howling. The game drives were fantastic! Elvis gave it all to show us the beautiful animals of South Africa. We saw not only the big five, but many more! During our game drives we saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, hippos, rhinos, leopards, crocodiles, impalas and many more beautiful creatures. The food and catering was outstanding. We were taken care of so well from the kitchen crew. It was amazing! Also the tent itself was super clean and comfortable.

Each morning, we found different animals venturing through the property: monkeys, warthogs, kudu, and guinea fowl. The lodge staff were warm and hospitable and helped us organize fun outings to visit Kruger and the Panorama Route and explore the neighboring wildlife reserve, where we saw giraffe, zebra, impala, waterbuck, and lots of birds. We had breakfast and dinner at the lodge each day -- and the meals were fantastic. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations. I'd definitely recommend it!
