Wow, what an amazing experience to stay at The Fernery. This is one of the places we will remember for a long time. The setting of the hotel was fantastic. The Jacuzzi and Hot Tub ambiance also fantastic. The breakfast by wide margin the best in South Africa. Dinner was also very good and fairly priced.

An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including hiking, canoeing and fishing. Situated in a beautiful building in a garden, next to the only restaurant in the town and to the beach entrance, incredibly friendly service. You get much more than you actually pay for.

Tsitsikamma Lodge & Spa is situated on the Garden Route. Cosy, free-standing log cabins provide a sanctuary in the peaceful forest setting. Each cabin is fitted with a spa bath and outdoor braai facilities. Amenities include a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, hiking trails, and on-site spa. While Tsitsikamma Lodge & Spa is not self-catering, crockery, cutlery, and braai packs can be arranged in advance of your stay if you wish to braai. Lovely, spacious and clean cabins right at the start of hiking trails. Great breakfast and buffet dinner. Amazing view from the cabin. Lovely staff.

The owner was lovely and helped us with tour books and recommended places to eat. The common areas had loads of games that kept our kids entertained

Guests can also relax by the swimming pool or enjoy the garden. The area features several outdoors activities, like the Tree Top Canopy Tour and the famous Otter Trail Hike. I stayed in the ground floor room with garden and pool view; what a lovely place. I felt like I had my own home. Coffee and tea facilities, a refrigerator and a nice terrace in the sun made my stay very pleasant. Yvette and her sister Theresa do everything for you to make it as pleasant as possible; lovely ladies. The breakfast is very good, especially because of that fantastic view. The lounge and living room by the fireplace make you feel very much at home. Wifi worked perfectly and I didn't have no signal or no power for a moment, perfect! The location is perfect! Dinner (wood oven pizza!) at the restaurant next door is a must! Also nice to relax on their nice sofas with a cup of tea.
