Accomodate there, you could not only enjoy the hotspring in this hotel, but also other two in sister hotel (can birdview the town) and sister SPA (traditional Japanese-Style). Hotel restaurant is Michelin-recomended, as a foodie, I even think its Kaiseki quality is higher than some 1-star restaurant. Really appreicate my service staff Taki, a lovely girl, gentle and careful, hard learning Chinese:)

We had the mountain view room, which meant we could open our window from the spring bath and look out over the temple and mountains. The staff were so kind, they made it a wonderful experience. We particularly enjoyed the food and the onsen. I am very satisfied with the service, the guest rooms, and the hot springs. I suggest ordering sake during dinner and trying the famous Hōrai and Shirayumi sake, which are local specialties. Additionally, I recommend making a reservation in advance for a private hot spring bath. It offers a fantastic bathing experience, and it's very relaxing to have a glass of milk after soaking in the hot spring. Very friendly staff that really creates a customer experience. We ended up staying in both the Mountain View room and the Premium Suite. The PS was huge! It was beautiful, but older. The private onset was wonderful. I think I preferred the MV room though. It was newer and every detail was perfect. The people were wonderful. The food was incredible. Some things were a little challenging (the tiny firefly squid comes to mind), but I expected that. The ryokan feels very authentic with little hallways going off in all directions! We travelled through Japan for two weeks and this place had my favourite Onsen.
