I am hoping to visit again in the future and if I do, that would be a third visit.

We liked everything. From the design, location to staff and service. It's a remarkable place with a lovely and positive soul. There is love in every detail of the house and service. Our host was fun and easy to talk to and he really took his time to make us feel at home and talk about Japan and Japanese culture. Something we appreciated. The food was also amazing. Local and traditional. Prepared with the same love and attention. The location also offered a small coffee place which serves excellent coffee. The only reason we where hestistating to score it a 10 is because perhaps people would distrust our enthusiasm. things can't be a 10 can they? Well they can. It's a great place... go and visit.

Dogo Onsen Yachiyo 道後温泉八千代 está muy bien situado en el barrio de Dogo Onsen, Matsuyama, a 3 min a pie de Joshin-ji Temple, a 600 metros de Matsuyama Shrine y a 16 min a pie de Miyukiji Temple. Immaculately clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds and bath. Spacious too. Good value

Situated just a 5-minute walk from JR Uwajima Station, Uwajima Oriental Hotel offers free in-room Wi-Fi. Complimentary coffee and tea are offered in the lobby. El personal fue muy agradable. En cuanto llegamos con el coche salió para ayudarnos con el equipaje y para orientarnos sobre el aparcamiento del hotel. Había refrigerio gratuito a la llegada, tés, zumos de naranjas... En otra zona teníamos acceso a los pijamas y utensilios varios para aseo personal.

Yamatoya Honten está en Matsuyama, a 6 min a pie de Joshin-ji Temple, y dispone de restaurante, habitaciones libres de humo, wifi gratis y bar. Todo. Fue una experiencia increíble. El hotel es precioso. Te dan un yukata para que te integres en el ambiente. Los baños termales del hotel son mejores en cuanto a decoración y experiencia a los del Dogo Onsen. Y al salir tienes bebidas y chuches gratis. El buffet del desayuno, increíble.
