The hotel is modern but we were able to stay in the traditional Japanese style room - everything about the room was thoughtfully prepared (tea, drip coffee, robes and slippers for use when going to onsen, ice machine and small souvenir shop), clean and beds were comfortable. The location was very good, nice buffet dinner, live music performance at night and very kind staff. The rooftop onsen was excellent - it had a beautiful view of Matsuyama city, different soaking areas (outdoor and indoor with spa bubbles) and felt pretty private.

瀧乃元 近藤家（Kondoke-Inn) está en Toon, a 11 km de Cools Mall y a 12 km de To-on Park. Ofrece alojamiento con jardín y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento, además de parking privado gratis. We absolutely loved this place. The host and staff are so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The house itself is lovely, an old renovated farm house, with plenty of space and a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. There is a small independent cafe attached which is not to be missed - amazing coffee and, again, the owner is just lovely. I would recommend traveling by car but the roads are easy to navigate, there is good parking and so much to do in the area (from hiking to canyoning and kayaking; and larger cities such as Matsuyama, and slightly further, Kochi, are not too far away - we even went into town by car one evening for the famous Dogo Onsen). All in all, not to be missed!

Dogo Onsen Yachiyo 道後温泉八千代 está muy bien situado en el barrio de Dogo Onsen, Matsuyama, a 3 min a pie de Joshin-ji Temple, a 600 metros de Matsuyama Shrine y a 16 min a pie de Miyukiji Temple. Immaculately clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds and bath. Spacious too. Good value

Situated just a 5-minute walk from JR Uwajima Station, Uwajima Oriental Hotel offers free in-room Wi-Fi. Complimentary coffee and tea are offered in the lobby. El personal fue muy agradable. En cuanto llegamos con el coche salió para ayudarnos con el equipaje y para orientarnos sobre el aparcamiento del hotel. Había refrigerio gratuito a la llegada, tés, zumos de naranjas... En otra zona teníamos acceso a los pijamas y utensilios varios para aseo personal.

Style of the room, spacious room. Fab private Onsen bath in room/ enclosed balcony. L,Occitaine products. Reception area smelled great. Fab rooftop onsen. Lovely kimono provided to wear to go to the onsen. Comfortable beds.
