The guesthouse was newly renovated & everything like new. We booked 4pax stay & the rooms condition is excellent. The staff service is good. We love it very much the onsen facility on this guesthouse. Breakfast provided were excellent. Nevertheless, this guesthouse is highly recommend during your visit to Kusatsu Onsen.

The units in the ryokan are fitted with a kettle. There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. All units will provide guests with air conditioning, a safety deposit box and a flat-screen TV. One of the best stay in my life! Room is big, clean and quiet, typical Japanese style. Breakfast was awesome, and the onsen was exceptional. Just locate at the entrance of the Sainokawara Park, and just a few minutes walk from the Yubatake and the Otaki no yu Onsen. Situated in Shibukawa in the Gunma region, with Ishidan-gai Steps and Ikaho Ropeway nearby, Chigira Jinsentei features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. Featuring an open-air bath, the 3-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Guests can use the public bath, or enjoy mountain views. The food was really good, the onsen was excellent and no complaints about the location!

The ryokan offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Amazing place, from pick up at the station until we left / everything was perfect! All the staff were exemplary, catering to all our needs. The dinner was worthy of Michelin imo, grande course with so many options. The breakfast too and it snowed so everything was beautiful, the views 😍 We had private onsen room and the room was huge, steeped in tradition and the onsen was lushhhh especially when you open the door the combo of heat and cold! will be back again, recommended!

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. Free private parking is available on site and free WiFi is available in all guest rooms.

Guests who check-in before 18:00 will receive complimentary welcome sweets. Every room at this ryokan is air conditioned and comes with a TV. This was one of my favourite stays during my trip to Japan! Our twin room was cosy, comfortable and so clean. The beds were the comfiest we had in Japan; I had the most relaxing sleep while staying here. We absolutely loved the breakfast we had, and everyone at the hotel was so kind and friendly. Their hospitality was the highlight of the trip! We stayed two nights and the chef made us a different meal each morning, and took us through the dishes as he brought them to us, and we were given delicious welcome sweets and matcha when we arrived. The breakfast room was so cosy with a fireplace and free coffee and tea. The location is excellent and easy to find; it was only a couple of minutes walk to the bus terminal and to the Yubatake, which is where most of the shops and restaurants are located. The four private onsen are also wonderful. We got to try out two, and we never found that we had to wait or miss out on using one of them when we wanted to. I loved the little baskets containing towels, pyjamas and toiletries that we were given. There are plenty of toiletries available in each of the onsen, and the pyjamas were so comfortable I wish I could have brought a pair home!

Set in Nakanojo in the Gunma region, Sekizenkan Kashotei Sanso offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and luggage storage space. The ryokan features family rooms. We have booked a room with our own private onsen as part of it and it was exceptional. If it weren‘t for the bugs (which the hotel can‘t do much about), it would be absolutely perfect. The rooms were super spacious and the beds very comfortable. Having Kaiseki in our very own room really adds to the whole experience of a traditional, Japanese inn. I also recommend trying the public baths even if you have one in your room, it is really good too!

Located along Houshi River, Houshi Onsen Chojukan features a public hot spring bath, Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and Japanese cuisine. A wooden building stemming from 100 years ago, the property breathes a historical atmosphere. The Houshi Onsen Chojukan is a magical place that offers scenic views and beautiful walking trails in the surrounding area. The staff members are incredibly lovely and truly elevated our stay there. The food was amazing, and we couldn't get enough of the onsens.
