This is an outstanding unique property if you like hot thermal spas. While I am not a fan of public bathing I found some hours when no one was there and I snuck in. What a luxury!!!! For next year I am getting suite with the private hot thermal spa so I don’t have to worry about the privacy. That having been said this place is six stars the service the food the Japanese ambiance and the entire experience is complete. I am an international traveler and I go to high end places only. This place was an amazing surprise in the middle of Unzen. I highly highly recommend it

Yuyado Unzen Shinyu se encuentra en Unzen, a 47 km de Museo de Historia y Cultura de Nagasaki, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. The room was huge by Japanese standards. They have both traditional rooms and more "modern" rooms with the ryokan look but typical double beds as you may expect in a more regular hotel. Free onsen on the premises (even some private for a small fee) that were very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and really helpful (special mention to Chihiro for her kindness). The kaiseki dinner was delicious, a true gem.

Unzen Kyushu Hotel se encuentra en Unzen, a 47 km de Museo de Historia y Cultura de Nagasaki, y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, parking privado gratis y bar. The spacious hotel room with its private onsen offers a high level of comfort, privacy and serenity. The hotel staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The dinners we had there, one Japanese and one western, were something not to be missed. It's been a pampering experience.

Unzen Miyazaki Ryokan features a 1,650-square-meter Japanese garden, natural hot spring baths, free Wi-Fi, an on-site bar, cafe, souvenir shop and an exclusive lounge for... Spacious table-seating in the dining room, all tables having a view of the garden (really a park-like setting) and a menu that deserves an international rating at the highest levels, and that applies to both dinner (the landscape outside the glass wall is softly illuminated) and breakfast that offers Western coffee selections and the best of Japanese tea. We booked two nights and we were delightfully surprised to find that both the dinner and breakfast menus were varied. The wait staff and chefs paced the meal to our habits, and as English-speaking guests we never were challenged in communications.

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Saikaibashi in Sasebo has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Boasting free shuttle service, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. The onsen was wonderful, beautiful, clean and well attended. Breakfast and dinner buffets were great with so many great choices and excellent presentation. The hotel staff was accommodating and explained things that were unfamiliar to us. The hotel itself has a beautiful location and is well maintained.
