The room was well equipped and for two people very spacious. The privat onsen was just perfect after a day of exploring the region or for a relaxing dip before breakfast. Btw, be sure to add the delicious japanese style breakfast when you arrive! For 1200 yen per person and night this is an absolute bargain! Staff was so nice, we had an amazing stay. It's a traditional japanese inn, don't expect a 5* hotel here!

Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA ligt in Beppu, op 26 km van Oita Bank Dome, en biedt uitzicht op de stad. We had an amazing stay. The owner welcomed us and helped us book several activities and onsen in beppu. She even walked us to a nearby restaurant (everything else was closed and without her, we wouldn't have had the chance of having a real meal). The rooms were very comfortable. It was clean. Every morning we got hard boiled eggs from the onsen water. The location is also perfect. Very calm.

Yufuin Onsen Toshoan is gelegen in Yufu, op 45 km van Oita Bank Dome, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren en een bar. Wonderful onsen ryokan in the outskirts of Yufuin, with incredibly friendly staff and a beautiful view of Mt Yufu. The food is soooo good! We stayed for two night and had two different dinner courses, both of which were lovely. The outdoor bath in the room Botan was a highlight as well — so lovely to relax in the bath with a view of the valley and mountains.

Yufuin Onsen Tsukanoma is aantrekkelijk gelegen in de wijk Yufuin Onsen in Yufu, en is gelegen op 1,8 km van Kinrinko Meer, 28 km van station Beppu en 40 km van station Oita. The quality of onsen is absolutely high quality. The place is very charming and is relaxing.

Assi House bevindt zich in Yufu, op 48 km van Crasus Dome Oita, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een barbecue. Lovely place! Outstanding hospitality and breakfast, plus a quirky but nice cat who even comes with a separate user guide 🥰 very comfortable room that was clean and tastefully decorated (I got a western style room because that was the only one left, but the Japanese ones also looked beautiful). Washing facilities and restrooms also great. The Onsen and shower facilities are outside, the Onsen was nice but not very warm since the springs seem to be a bit cooler than elsewhere. Still okay and no problem booking it privately. Note: shower facilities are not available in winter, so you have to keep that in mind. Cat: quirky, chatty, adorable and playful but, as most cats are she has a mind of her own. Not a huge cuddle bug but peaceful and comes over eventually. I'll definitely come back next year!
