We had a wonderful stay in kamekamehouse! They were so very accommodating and such nice hosts. The breakfast and dinner was absolutely fantastic. Their pets are also super cute, the little fluffy dog running around and Tebichi the pig upstairs. The location is also amazing, just a few minutes walk away from Aharen Beach. It was very convenient. We are looking forward to coming back here :-)

Umino Ryotei Okinawa Nakamasou está en Onna, a 4 min a pie de Playa de Nakama, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. This is the best place in Okinawa! All the staff were kind and helpful, we were like a big family! The food was great, we are not used to eating so much, but it was an amazing experience to try unusual dishes, the chef does not need Michelin stars, he is better! Thank you very much to everyone for the hospitality!

Shizuka is such a pure and genuine soul. We absolutely loved staying with her. What makes a trip memorable is not only the places you visit, but the people you meet. Shizuka is such a person. She has chosen to share her slice of paradise with (international) travelers and we couldn't be more grateful. The homestay is comfortable, tastefully decorated and included all the amenities you could ask for - including guidebooks and local recommendations. Shizuka took her time showing us the property and the facilities. She even made a welcome platter for us with local snacks! Every day, we were greeted with the most beautiful fresh flowers from her garden. When we visited (January 2025), she had two cute baby goats (Linda-chan & Emma-chan). Her garden is a real treasure, with local herbs and fruits. We slept fantastic, since it was very quiet. The local beach around the corner is stunning. It is also the place where my partner proposed to me, making this trip even more memorable. From the bottom of our hearts - thank you Shizuka! We hope to see you again, in Ishigaki or in Luxembourg.

Wellness pension Coco está en Isla Ishigaki, a 10 min a pie de Playa de Fusaki y a 6,4 km de Museo Yaeyama. Estancia muy agradable, el personal muy atento y agradable. Nos ayudó en todo momento incluso solicitando transporte privado cuando hizo falta. Te preguntan a qué hora quieres el desayuno y qué prefieres si occidental o japonés. Vale la pena pedir el desayuno tradicional.

Peaceful, charming, no frills & quiet atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. The other reviews were accurate that the breakfast is amazing and adds great value to the experience. Would be happy to stay again.

Staying at Minshuku Irayoi was a wonderful experience. The property is clean, charming, and a short walk from the bus stop and Shiraho beach, full of marine life. Free shower and laundry soap, washing machine and tumble dryer are also available, which is convenient. Outstanding meals prepared by one of the minshuku owners, who is also a local artist. Do make time for a chat with her and her husband, who are happy to provide tips and recommendations for things to do in the area, and who facilitate conversation with other guests if staying for meals. Chances are you will spend a lovely evening getting to know fellow travellers around drinks and music. Stay at Irayoi if you're interested in learning about real Ishigaki life and culture!

El FUSAKI BEACH RESORT HOTEL & VILLAS está situado a solo 1 minuto a pie de la playa de Fusaki y cuenta con varias piscinas, 4 restaurantes y tratamientos de spa con aromaterapia. The location is absolutely stunning. This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were beyond lovely, so polite and helpful. They carried my suitcases to my room and were generally wonderful. The Japanese / Chinese restaurant on site is to die for, such delicious food. They offer a free shuttle service from the airport too, timed perfectly for flights. Everything there just felt easy, like they have you covered.
