The staff picked us from the port and drop us off to the port for our final destination, something we were not expecting. The breakfast and the okinawa style dinner were amazing and homemade by the owner, making the experience even more delightful and delicious. We stayed in a japanese style room. The room was spacious, clean and provided us of all the amenities needed for our stay. The staff was amazing and was always ready to help us with whatever we needed. Furthermore, the location to the beach was so close. Also, you are greeted with Mugi, the owner's dog who is very sweet, non threatning and a really nice pig! I really cannot emphasize how amazing our experience was in Kamekamehouse. Even though it was one night, we wish we could've stayed for more days. I would definitely recommend to everyone who wants to know Tokashiki island to spend at least a night here and feel the japanese/okinawan culture to the max!

Fitted with a balcony, the units offer air conditioning and feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bath and a hair dryer. Each unit includes a safety deposit box and some rooms have sea views. At the ryokan, each unit has bed linen and towels. Probably the prettiest room I have ever stayed in with an incredible view on the turquoise Okinawa sea. The food is just out of this world, make sure to book dinner, it’s worth it. The service was also very friendly and accommodating.

This ryokan also includes a patio that doubles up as an outdoor dining area. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Shizuka was the most amazing host! She greeted us kindly every day, and she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome on the island. She even prepared local treats for us every day! She gave so many recommendations! The space is very quaint. The semi outdoor shower and kitchen are wonderful. We slept wonderfully listening to the nature sounds. Highly recommend this spot!!!

They were the sweetest hosts who picked me up at the airport, drove us guests around the island on a little tour when it was raining and offered nice socializing. The room is large and the beds are the most comfortable - actually better than the one I have at home. Also really nice with a bathtub. Close to Fusaki Beach

The other reviews were accurate that the breakfast is amazing and adds great value to the experience. Would be happy to stay again.
