You have a very great view of the lake. Room is very spacious. It's our first time as well to stay at a traditional Japanese room, wear yukata and it was a great experience. Excellent dinner and breakfast. They can pick you up at the train station which is very convenient.

Easy checkin and very nice host.

Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a lift and free shuttle service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. I liked the quiet location, the view of Lake Biwa, the friendly staff, and the access to both public and private onsen facilities.

The ryokan features family rooms. The homemade Japanese breakfasts were phenomenal and a very good value. Almost unbelievable. Each day was different, with a healthy balance of vegetables, proteins, and carbs (rice). Authentic, and served by a wonderful woman.
