El Ryokan Hostel K's House ocupa un edificio de 100 años de antigüedad declarado bien cultural tangible situado en Shizuoka, a 7 minutos a pie de la estación de trenes JR Ito. El hostel es increíble. Una experiencia tradicional japonesa inolvidable. Fuimos a habitación compartida y hubo un problema con un huésped que llegó borracho, pero el personal del hotel lo resolvió rapidísimo y muy amablemente nos dieron otra habitación. El onsen es soñado. Me metí cuando no había gente y pude disfrutarlo yo sola. Incluso llovió y nos dieron paraguas y un aparato para secar las zapatillas. Super atentos. Vayan si o si!!

This was a shot in the dark booking since I couldn’t find a place near the beach that was tattoo friendly. We were blown away at the facility, amenities and overall beauty of the location. I booked 3 rooms. Everyone had their own private onsen bath. My husband and I upgraded to the sauna barrel room and we LOVED IT. The guys all did sauna in the morning. They even give you handmade authentic sauna hats. Breakfast was simple but filling. Half of the group did the Japanese style, half did American. My jumbo toast made me feel like I was in a Ghibli movie having breakfast. There is a vending machine in the breakfast area was a variety of snacks and drinks. Our van made it on the roads to the property. So a standard vehicle will have no issue. Beautiful creak flowing in the backyard of every room. Every room has an entrance, toilet & sink room, living room (doubles as bedroom bc you have tatami beds), vanity sink & rack, THEN sliding door to your shower & bath, THEN sliding door to your porch with seating. Our room had the barrel immediately to the left of the porch with ANOTHER outdoor tub. Price was excellent!!

Excellent services, top-rated cuisine and panoramic sea views are the lasting impressions during our stay in Room 608 from Feb 11 - 12, 2025. Our special thanks goes to the very nice male staff who render his efficient services in table-setting for the many dishes of traditional Japanese cuisines, both for dinner and breakfast. He guided us the unique flavors of each type of food and the best way of eating with various sauces and condiments. He took the initiative to give us pamphlets about the sight-seeing spots nearby. We took his advice and did another hour of touring to learn more about Atami. It was a very hospitable and warming journey we had had with this hotel. Thank you for the very kind services of all the dedicated staff as well.

Atami Sekaie se encuentra en Atami, a 2,5 km de Playa de Atami Sun y a 25 km de Estación Hakone-Yumoto. Ofrece alojamiento con restaurante y wifi gratis, además de parking privado gratis. I think this stay was the best experience in my traveller’s life! From the moment I booked -requesting allergies and other details to the moment we left the hotel. I cannot express enough how attentive the stuff are! They noticed during the dinner our kid was left handed, and breakfast was served on the left side. All I can say is Wow! and thank each and everyone who made this unforgettable memory for our family!

Isoaruki no Yuyado Ushiogumo -6 years or older- se encuentra en Kawazu, a 37 km de Templo Shuzenji y a 45 km de Monte Daruma. Really enjoyed staying at Ushiogumo: The facilities are brand-new and impeccable, amazing staff (!!), beautiful location that's close to scenic landscapes. The Kaiseki Ryori dinner was excellent, breakfast was great too! Each room has a private bath on the balcony. There's lots of amenities in the room. Plus, the hotel onsen is made available for private use from 6pm. It's a small property (I counted 7 rooms) and thus feels very cozy. The road in front of the hotel did not really bother us. The terrace windows are well-isolated to block out any noise and there's also the calming sound from the balcony onsen. Extra points for the super-friendly staff!!! ...who can also converse in English so it's no problem for foreign tourists.

素泊まり宿 瑞宝荘 está en Atami, a 11 min a pie de Playa de Atami Sun, y dispone de alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Host was extremely friendly; I was travelling with my son and we had great fun using google translator. Location was great. Room, although on the small side, was fine with a private bathroom. Small breakfast was provided and we were able to bring back food to have in the kitchen for dinner. We caught the beginning of the blossom season and Plum Park was an easy short train ride and walk. Also easy access to the bus to Mt Fuji lookout although we could only see the top of it due to cloud.
