When we arrived, the hotel staff immediately carried our luggage to the room. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. That evening, it happened to snow heavily, and we went to the outdoor hot spring pool while enjoying the snowfall. Both breakfast and dinner were wonderful, with the waitress explaining the ingredients used in each dish. The famous Iya Kazura Bridge and Biwa Waterfall is just walking distance. It’s a hotel with great value for money, and our whole family loved it!

Mooi uitzicht wanneer je aan de stadszijde een kamer hebt, anders bij het diner aan de stadszijde gaan zitten. Heerlijke Onsen met stortdouche, sauna binnen en buitenbad.

Naruto Grand Hotel Kaigetsu biedt accommodatie in Naruto. De ryokan met 3 sterren biedt een restaurant en heeft kamers met airconditioning en een eigen badkamer. The location and standard of amenity were superb. The hotel was easily accessible by public transport, locally or to / from the airport. The hot tubs on the top floors are a delight! I had a spacious Japanese style room overlooking the beach and out to sea, perfect for my last night in Japan. Women have a choice of yukata and there are plenty of drinks available in hotel lounge, though as the season slows, they maybe need.more attention to maintain supply. The evening buffet was diverse, plentiful, delicious and very welcome since there was nowhere locally for a snack or lunch. I had great help from a member of staff who spoke excellent English and found and organised a very straightforward (but not obvious) solution for getting me to the airport. Other staff either didn't know about it or couldn't explain and my Japanese wasn't nearly good enough to work it out.

Sunriver Oboke ligt in Miyoshi, op 29 km van de Tsurugi-san stoeltjeslift en op 7 km van de Iya Hot Spring. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeergelegenheid. De SPA en de rust, het eten... De gehele atmosfeer in Sunriver Oboke is heel goed. Personeel is vriendelijk en de verschillende baden in de Spa zijn genieten. Erg schoon, goede bad-faciliteiten en ook nog een sauna. Yukata gebruik etc. Eten goede samenstelling.

Hotel Iya Onsen biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de veranderende seizoenen in de Iya-vallei en beschikt over accommodatie in Japanse stijl en natuurlijke warmwaterbronnen. Springs were spectacular. Room with deck was enjoyable.

Blue Villa Anabuki is gelegen in Mima, op 47 km van Yakuri-ji Temple, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. Bit outdated but that’s exactly what you’ll get in the middle of nowhere. However, staff, food and hot spring is nice and nearby river is a good place to go for BBQ in summer. If you are looking for place where the time stops, this is where you want to go.

Momijigawa onsen is gelegen in Naka, op 17 km van Hiwasa Zeeschildpaddenmuseum Caretta, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. Fabulous hotel in the countryside by a river. There's nothing much around it, but everything you need is inside - restaurant, shop, vending machines, and of course, the onsen. Our room was large, with a view over the river. The restaurant had many options for dinner and was inexpensive, and the food was delicious. The included breakfast was also great.

Seaside Hotel Taimaru Kaigetsu bevindt zich in Naruto en biedt een spa- en wellnesscentrum. The staff were great, especially the manager at the front desk was wonderful. the view from the room was amazing and food was great.
