Amazing view from the hotel and staff we very nice and helpful. Masks at the hotel were delicious and everything was clean and organized. The hotel also provided transportation to and from the train station. Location was convenient and right at a bus stop.

Great view that looks out to Fuji, amazing food that is traditional and made with fresh produce. It’s everything you can want in a hotel and our only regret is not staying more nights here. The staff here is just beyond amazing. They went above and beyond for us, even organised a cake for my birthday. We even got to see the first snow of the season here.

The staff were wonderfully helpful and welcoming and we would highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

The lodging was authentic, peaceful, and cozy, and the entire team welcomed us with warmth and care. The dinner and breakfast were true works of art — both delicious and beautifully presented. We were also fortunate to experience a private tea ceremony, thoughtfully arranged for us at the home of tea teacher. Our guide, Tomo, was kind, considerate, and made the whole experience unforgettable. We also attended the morning prayer at Kuon-ji Temple, which was deeply moving. Thank you to everyone at Kakurinbo for your gracious hospitality — we will always remember our time with you.

Most excellent service I've ever received. The host was extremely kind and talented at quickly anticipating our needs and offering help. I can't emphasize just how amazing the service was. The shuttle to and from the bus station was so convenient. Great location and the view we had of Mt Fuji from our room was gorgeous! The traditional room was clean and beautiful. Wearing yukata and going to the onsen was an amazing experience as well. Do yourself a favor and add on the breakfast when you arrive! It was so delicious.
