Easy to check in, no nonsense room.

Room was advertised as "great bed, great shower, nice design, otherwise no-nonsense" and it was exactly like that. Breakfast option included English and continental options (and good coffee) and was well worth the charge if you don't have time to (or don't want to) go outside. This was the room type without windows, which has the added benefit of no risk of train or road noise seeping in.

We downgraded, and got a much nicer Twin Standard room than the dark Superior Double, with its brutalist concrete ceiling, that we booked. Generally, a no nonsense, modern clean hotel in Amsterdam Docklands with some great views from some of the upper floor (standard) rooms.
