This place is very nice!. The room was a very good size, with a kitchen and living/dining area separate from the sleeping areas. The shower had plenty of hot water - and places to hang towels! It's surprising how many places forget little details like that. In addition, the property owner allowed me to park my motorcycle on the lawn inside the locked entry gate.

Although Bucerias is growing quickly and people are buying up property, it is still considered a nice, quiet Mexican town that you can enjoy and relax in. There are many activities to do or you can do as little as you wish. Something for everyone.

Bucerias is a little town that is easy to get around by foot. It’s not crowded or noisy, but has lots of restaurants and lots to do if you want to do it. Unfortunately condos are creeping in and I don’t know how long it can stay the way it is now. The people are friendly, both the natives and the many Canadians who have moved there. We didn’t eat anywhere that wasn’t good. Ask around or just try places. Wear sturdy shoes for the cobblestone streets. The curbs are deep so you get a workout just walking. I don’t think I would ever stay in PV again. I love Bucerias and that area.

Nereidas Lofts is a nice, clean, modern property.
Nereidas Lofts is a nice, clean, modern property. One block to the beach and the access is on the same street. The restaurant on the ground floor is really good for breakfast and lunch but closes at 2 pm. Across the street to the south is Jorges restaurant. Very good basic Mexican dishes with awesome smoothies. More of a working persons' place with great service and a very friendly atmosphere.

The beach is beautiful and clean. Easy to walk to the beach. Cute shops in the market. Nice restaurants on the beach. Lots of older American and Canadian tourists. We always ate a a street side seafood restaurant with ice cream next door. Easy to buy snacks at Oxxo.

I LOVE being in Bucerias - this was my third trip staying there. The only negative is that there are also a lot of other people who love Bucerias - there is a massive amount of condo building going on. Hopefully, it will not take over and ruin the local businesses that really add to the flavor of the city. I am very comfortable there. It is large enough to have all the amenities that I want but small enough to be able to walk around and not feel crowded-in like being in a larger city. At no time did I feel unsafe - of course I wasn't walking around at 2 in the morning, either, and stuck with areas with which I was already pretty familiar. The restaurants there are amazing - El Brujo, Sandrina's, La Comalita, Cafe las Flores, Le Postal, Le Bistrot, Mr. Santana's - and the list goes on and on. I have a list of at least another half dozen that I want to try. I didn't have a single bad meal or dining experience the whole time there.

Beach and the place we stayed in were great but town busy with tourists. Restaurants good but very crowded in January. Have to make reservations in the most popular ones. Karens place on the beach is good for a sunset experience.
Wow what a fantastic place!! A true gem!! Staff wonderful, hotel amenities wonderful. Artwork and use of local artisan products in hotel rooms and around hotel outstanding!! Beds so comfortable that it feels your sleeping on a cloud. We stayed for 3 nights and loved it so much we booked another 3 nights and got to experience another suite. Perfectly set up for cooking your own food but the cafe below has wonderful food. The use of golf carts to get around town and beach towels and beach chairs was a great added bonus we didn’t expect.
Great location, close to the beach and numerous restaurants, coffee shops and corner stores. Nice pool. Very quiet at night. They have umbrellas and beach chairs that you can bring to the beach. A very beautiful friendly dog lives on the property. Friendly staff. Kitchen with all you need to prepare food. Little balcony with clothesline. We found many good spots to eat very reasonably priced tacos. I recommend the Bici Bucerias Cafe & Bar (right around the corner) Bicycles and food tour with Pepe.
The cleanliness, the kitchen, washer/dryer, large showers, responsiveness of the staff, and the excellent pool.
The proximity to Malecon and Puerto Vallarta is also ideal. Buscerias, where this hotel is located, is a little cheaper, quaint, and small townish. However, if you would like to travel to more touristy spots, you are only a short Uber/taxi/bus ride away.
Cafe Bucerias is right at the end of the block for a quick breakfast. The condos are an easy walk to the the malecon, market and beach. There is a taxi stand just one block away making it very easy to get around. The place is clean, safe, and well-cared for. The owners are friendly and helpful.
Super great staff...everything we needed, 1 block from the beach, restaurants and coffee, quiet, secure and safe. The host/owner was also an uber driver and drove us to our next hotel a town over... Spent 2 nights here, love Bucerias, great place to stay at Casa Maqua
Location is great- best part of Bucerias , beach a block away , cute grocery store across the street, restaurants , Hussein and Magua truly looked after me as a solo traveller felt very safe and welcome , felt like being in their quaint home with lots of privacy
Location and price were great. The pool was very warm so our young son loved being in it. Super close to the beach but far enough away from very busy centre. Super friendly people staying at this hotel longer term. Great restaurants nearby.
The staff was helpful and really friendly, a/c worked good, clean room and nice pool. The rooms are extremely basic so take water and snacks. It is quiet and comes with private beach access. This hotel is older but not a bad choice.
The staff is outstanding! Ivan couldn’t do enough for the guests. The maid service was the best I have ever experienced in Mexico. Our unit was bright and spacious. It was so calming to look out over the ocean from our balcony.
Great location. Unlike our PV hotel, we had a coffee maker and small fridge in our room. They were very responsive to our questions and needs, eg: offering to arrange taxis,
Fantastic location and staff….workable kitchen and gods sized fridge if needed.. Honestly it’s
cheaper and convenient enough to go out and support the economy
Loved the staff and the volunteersThey're all awesome!! Love the beach at Bucerias. It is isolated clean and beautiful!! Loved everything about this place ❤
The staff is the only thing that can be rescued from this place, they really do a lot with the little that the administration of this hotel grants them
