We loved our stay it was so peaceful with beautiful outlooks from every window. The studio was larger than we expected and could easily accommodate a third person comfortably if needed. We felt every detail from the furnishings to the artwork and flowers from the garden in each room were thoughtful and made it a lovely place to relax. Bathroom & kitchen had everything we needed. The studio was more like a spacious townhouse. The communication with Tom from the property was prompt & informative we couldn’t have asked for more.

Great quiet location for relaxation, lots of space to spread out. Kids loved the swing, friendly farm animals and pick you own blueberries 2 minutes up the road. Close enough to beach for days trips on the great ocean road and return to the forest for rest.

The Bay Rose is a beautiful place with nice garden and beautifully decorated old Victorian style rooms, we had fresh flowers on dining table and warm beds to sleep in. Birds singing in the early morning hours and nice views from living rooms and some nice walking trails that’s what we didn’t even expect to find in one place. The Willy Wagtail Studio was wonderful. We received clear instructions to access the property prior to arrival. The studio was really comfortable, very well equipped hand had everything we could hope for or need. There were lots of thoughtful touches, not just coffee and tea but also milk, sugar, salt, pepper and more. The garden is beautiful and we sat and ate dinner on the deck, watching the many birds visit the flowering trees. The location was perfect for our purpose (we were doing the paddling with platypus) but also great for visiting the Great Ottway Forest.

The host family were very warm and keen for our comfort which set the scene. Our welcome was true family quality . The envirnoment both inside and outside was beyond comfortable with every possible requirement considered and delivered! Our hosts have planned for all scenarios with the additional Information file providing every information we could ever want. The house design was stunning with all details pre-empting physical, practical, emotional, soul and safety needs in one hit!! I travel a lot and this accomodation excelled. Stephen was very helpful with giving information on the area and recommended we try to see the glow worms near the property at night. The location was very beautiful and we were lucky enough to see a deer and fox close by while we were eating dinner on the porch. It was super close to the Otway Fly Treetop Adventure Park, which was excellent for us to spend a day out doing the activities.
