BelgiumThis was easily one of our favorite stays on the loop! A lot of the popular places feel pretty commercialised, so it was refreshing to go off the beaten path and find this absolute gem. The sweetest lady welcomed us, she was warm, helpful, and really took care of us. The rooms were super comfortable, and both breakfast and lunch were included (we even got to pick the time!). Lunch packets were available for just $3, which was perfect for hiking days. Bonus points for the cozy common room with lots of games and even a fireplace. Highly recommend!

Czech RepublicStarlight Inn is the ideal place to start the Quilotoa hike. Located just outside Sigchos the hostel provides excellent vistas of the surrounding countryside and is as charming during the sunset as it is at dawn. Billiard, board games, and a llama all included!
