This was our favourite place on our tour around Finnmark. It was obviously an older person’s home at some point and it’s got a really cosy, homely feel. It’s much bigger than a normal holiday let with a big kitchen and a proper living room. It’s just back from the main coastal road but that road’s pretty quiet. You can look out over the shoreline in one direction and the countryside in the other. It’s not flashy or modern - just a really nice place to be.

Our stay in the house, which is right by a huge white sandy beach, was wonderful! The house is beautifully and lovingly decorated in a stylish way, and the panoramic windows offer an unobstructed view of the beautiful beach, perfect for watching the sunset.
