She went above and beyond to make this place homey it had everything you need and more. Really wish we stayed more than one night. She picked us up and dropped us off from the ferry terminal which was so kind and showed us around town. Pool was amazing and house was so cozy. Such a welcoming host!

There’s a great sense of privacy and seclusion since you really can’t see much of the property from the road. Our unit was spacious and comfortable, well laid out.

She prepared a great breakfast and was very helpful with everything. The room and the house had everything, which we needed for a wonderful holiday.

The en suite bathroom comes with a shower and a hairdryer is provided. Rooms are serviced weekly and coin-operated laundry machines are available at the resort. Great location- a block from the beach, a block from the $1 island bus, the pier and the park with Playground… The staff was friendly and the resort was beautiful, with lots of privacy, …loved the game room. Easy to see the whole island from there in two days. Or was like a whole house with full living room, kitchen, patio… Very quiet.

Just 200 metres from Picnic Bay Beach, Tropical Palms Inn offers air-conditioned rooms with a kitchenette and a private balcony or courtyard. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and a barbecue area set in lovely gardens. This was a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations. It was easy to find and just a short walk from the esplanade that has a few restaurants, a pub, a cafe, a brewery and a gorgeous beach with a jetty to fish off (or just watch the world go by) and a swimming net. Picnic Bay is a quite spot on the island but the busses run frequently and on time to get you anywhere else on the island if you want to explore. The man on reception was so friendly with a no fuss check in and super informative about anything we needed to know. The accommodation is small but absolutely spotless. Paths and gardens were clean and maintained, the pool was sparkling, the outdoor bbq area super clean and spacious and the rooms were just perfect, actually better than the photos. They had everything we needed for our night stay, we would definitely stay again and hopefully for longer next time.

The homestay is equipped with a flat-screen TV. The kitchen is fitted with a toaster, a fridge and a stovetop and there is a private bathroom with a hair dryer and free toiletries. The property has an outdoor dining area. The room, bathroom and outdoor area are all comfortable and very nicely designed. Catherine and David were great hosts and extremely helpful in providing us with tips for snorkeling and hiking. The location is great, a short walk to the beach and about 20min to forts function (or a very short drive).

Towels and bed linen are available in the villa. The property has an outdoor dining area. The home was nothing short of perfect. Designed beautifully with the most amazing outdoor entertainment and pool area. Multiple outdoor seating areas, bar fridge, outdoor TV, heaps of pool toys, mini golf putting, playground area for kids, and outdoor shower - perfect!! Inside, there wasn't a single thing we needed that the house didn't have. An abundance of plates/cups/cutlery/glasses/stubby holders/tea towels/garbage bags...you name it, it was there. The beds were super comfortable and all rooms had air conditioning. The upstairs area was kitted out to sleep up to 6 kids with the coolest kids zone, equipped with PS4, games, books and toys. The house was spotlessly clean and presented like a show home. It's set slightly of the beaten track meaning no noisy backpackers or traffic noise. You could technically walk to Horseshoe Bay as it's about 30 min walk, but easier by car. To top the experience off, there was a sleepy, dozy Koala living in the tree across from the house - how good!! Can't fault anything about this property and can't wait to come back.

After traveling for over a month in Indonesia, the jacuzzi tub was amazing!!
