You can sit there for hours and not get bored. Our host was a very nice guy who takes good care of his guests. He also arranged a good rental car to explore the island as he had a car rental business too so that is pretty convenient. Sao Nicolau is a fantastic place to visit, the locals are extremely friendly.

On weekends the kiosk in front can become lively with neighbors coming, drinking beer and grill, but it will end way before midnight and if you see bothered with the noise, you just need to ask and they will pay attention.
