Run by a family, they were so helpful and kind. They even picked us up from the airport and arranged a taxi for our early ferry. The room was perfect, with a cute kitchen area and pool. Walk to town was easy - don’t let it put you off!

Hi Anita and Danielle it’s Alan from Vancouver here. This review is written by me but is headlined by Kathryn my friend who made the booking. 🤔La Casa de Amelia is a first rate operation. I stayed there for 9 nights very recently. There are three reasons why I rate this hostal so highly. Firstly, comfort. I had a full one bedroom apartment with all amenities. The unit is bright, very high ceilings, excellent AC, full kitchen, clean and has great Galápagos character. Secondly, value. This is incredible value! Thirdly and most of all, the hosts - they are such a charming and real couple. Anita and her husband Danielle are the real deal. They are most gracious. Thank you guys.

Excellent location with a view of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno town and seafront from the rooftop breakfast bar. Trudy and her husband were super nice and helpful and made my stay perfect. Alfredo and his family were lovely and the hostel was immaculately clean. Lovely garden with fruit (which I could eat), water supplied, snorkel rental and recommendations for the tours/ferries. A nice relaxing place to stay.

The property exceeded our expectations and the hosts went out of their way to tend to our every need. They even picked us up from the airport and took us there again on our departure. They even suggested tours that we could take and they were all worth the money we paid for. The pictures do not do justice to the property; in reality it is much better.
