For us, this was just a great location to have as a base whilst we drove around the island. It had everything that we needed to cook our meals, a lovely warm bathroom and hot shower plus the comfortable separation of a seating area and bedroom area. We stayed in the butterfly Lodge and would definitely stay here again☺️

Our accommodations were absolutely wonderful and a perfect location to explore the mainland of Orkney and other islands to catch ferries. The accommodations are clean comfortable views are wonderful and everything was just lovely.

Great compact apartment. Everything was very clean and convenient, and well supplied. The location was very good for both the neolithic sites and Kirkwall. There is a good supermarket in Kirkwall (10 minutes by car). There are some nice walks for the evening, and the parking is easy. The Wifi worked well, and the washer is modern and easy to use. This was a good break from B&B allowing us to eat more lightly and save some money.

Everything on our list was within 15 min drive. Simply great! Wish we could have stayed longer

Comfortable, warm, clean and all the simple essentials already there like tea, coffee, milk, washing tablets if you need to wash clothes, cereal, etc. the complimentary ginger fudge was tasty, enjoyed very much.
