Each room is fitted with air conditioning, and certain rooms at the hostel have a balcony. This place surprised us! Big comfy bed, AC worked perfectly, and the room felt super fresh and quiet. Iwan helped us plan the Ijen hike — even gave us ginger tea when we returned. So wholesome.

The vibe at Zzz Malang was amazing. I met so many cool backpackers, and we shared stories over coffee. The hostel arranged a Tumpak Sewu Waterfall tour, which was stunning! The place was also very clean, and I loved their adorable cat! 😍

Amazing hospitality, we felt like we were very welcomed. the owner plus house staff helped us with planning the rest of our trip. Excellent breakfast too!

Warm welcome from Johan and his nephew, the room was clean and already fresh with the AC. The place felt like home and we could also use the kitchen. The breakfast was very good with plenty of food and fruits. The location is perfect, in a calm neighborhood, close to the city center. We also plan the visit to Ijen with Johan and everything went smoothly ! Thanks for everything, it was a pleasure to meet you :)

Some units feature a terrace and/or a balcony with sea views. At the apartment complex, the units include bed linen and towels. Perfect location, the building has amazing facilities (kids playground, multiple pools, gym, sauna), and the location is fantastic! Safe and quiet but still close to the city, a gorgeous seaside mall (PIK Avenue) and lots of food options. I highly recommend the sea view options! We were onto here for a short rest stop before our next flight to Bali but enjoyed our stay so much we are considering coming back to Jakarta a little early to explore the area more :)

The accommodation features an indoor pool, fitness centre, restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. We were pleased to stay in ParkRoyal. Everything was excellent. From really great staff, cleanliness, variety of breakfast options to a spectacular view from our room. There is also a rooftop swimming pool and a gym (which we did not use). We really appreciated the complimentary bottles of water that were regularly supplied. Shopping mall (exchange office, ATMs and many restaurants) is in the vicinity.

At the aparthotel, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Nice newish apartment with great views of the city. Reasonably priced in a good location in south Jakarta.

SEMERU HOSTEL MALANG in Malang provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Located around 500 metres from Gajayana Stadium, the hostel with free WiFi is also 300 metres away from Malang Library. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, a 24-hour front desk and organising tours for guests. The hostel was perfect. They helped me with everything, I also booked 3 tours with them and we went to the Bromo Vulcano, Ijen Crater & the tumpak waterfall together. We took so many nice photos on the tours and they cared a lot. The beds are very comfy, you have lockers for your stuff and also free coffee and tee. The showers are big and clean. The stay in Nadya's Hostel was the best stay on my Indonesia trip and it's also not expensive. The people there are so friendly. Its also central so you can walk to a laundry and there are also some cute restaurants nearby like Pizza place, typical Indonesian food and a salad place. I will comeback for sure !!!

We really enjoyed our stay, it was clean, cozy and nice to be outside of the main centre but with easy access by foot or grab.. The hosts are very nice and they even gave us little Indonesian pancakes for breakfast which was a nice surprise.
