The villa itself was big, clean and well equiped. Even came with it's private cinema. We were only two people, but this would be absolutely perfect for larger groups as well. Everything felt like it was organized smoothly. Not cheap for the tent but understand it is peak season.

The place was spacious, clean, perfectly located in the center of Magome-juku and had very nice futon beds. The host went above and beyond all our expectations. He mentioned that local restaurants were reserve only, and since we were already quite late, he offered to take us to a local public onsen were we could also have dinner. We had a nice simple dinner there, and a great onsen session afterwards. He brought us home afterwards, and had a good night's rest before our Nakasendo hike. Thank you!
