We were pleasantly surprised with the attention to detail. All the little extra surprises were great to find. Bed was comfortable and the pool a delight. The owner arranged a great boat trip for us to Ile Aux Cerf and we even hired a car from him for the whole vacation. They made us feel so welcome. He also arranged for us to have an authentic Mauritius dinner. His wife even helped remove sea urchin pieces in my foot. Overall a great stay. Hope to return again soon

He gave us many great tips for "what to do?", "where to eat" etc. Breakfast was very nice. The room was spacious and the bed was big and very comfortable.

For breakfast Rajesh brought us fresh bread every morning while fruits, different cereal, jam, coffee, tea etc. where already in the kitchen. The balcony, has a nice view to the river and plenty of space to relax. You can also ask Rajesh to help you with booking a boat for Ile aux cerfs at a fair price, the boats leave directly from there which is super convenient.

Absolutely loved my stay at Mau Lakaz. The place was very neat and clean. We were offered complimentary tea bags which was great given that I am a tea lover. The view from the swimming pool was cherry on the cake. The host was very responsive. No noisy neighbours, which is a plus. Loved the master bedroom's bathroom and walking closet. Very well equipped - Iron, Hair dryer, utensils, steamer, vertical steamer iron, lots of towels (even pool towels), hangers, dish washer, hair and body shower gel (2 in 1), bbq, oven and big fridge.
