The island with the iconic, ochre yellow cabins in the middle of the Reine fjord, The island have been in the care of the Gylseth family for many generations. This was one of the nicest acommodations I have ever stayed at and I would highly recommend it! The decor with the little fireplace was so cozy and the view outside marvellous. Even in bad weather we loved being on Sakrisøy because our place was so nice :) We also enjoyed the many photography spots, the food place, and the antique store close by (walking distance)!

Situated in central Storvågan, Nyvågar offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and 2-floor apartments in traditional Norwegian fishermen’s cottages. All include a balcony or terrace. - our room was spacious with a nice view to the sea and the nearby mountain - breakfast was great - hotel is in a beautiful location and within a short walking distance from a gallery, a museum, and an aquarium - spa: the sauna had a nice view and the relaxation room was great

The quiet, secluded location was paradise and the cabin itself accentuated this. There is everything you need in the cabin and it is very modern, clean, and well taken care of. The best feature though, is amazing view you have of a small fjord, and you can enjoy this on the spacious deck, on inside through the massive windows. We would love to go back and spend more time there.

Everything was clean, washing machine with dryer included. So comfy HIGH bed!!! No soft mattress finally. Olga was so kind and let us check in earlier. I would stay here again. Much recommended.
