Location was great to explore the area, especially since Motueka is slightly larger and has all the amenities you would need in terms of restaurants, large grocery stores, and pharmacies (we had a big need for emergency antihistamines since my partner's pollen allergy went into overdrive and I developed some bad blisters on the Abel Tasman great walk). The hosts were wonderful, the room was lovely, spacious and clean, and having breakfast items available all day came in handy!

There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. Christa was the best hot we could have asked for, very helpful, friendly and knowledgable. The "studio" apartment was much more than we expected and it was a wonderful stop over, right next door to the gorgeous Abel Tasman park.

It was very cozy and a walk from the ferry which we came over on our bikes. It was an easy walk into town and the harbor. Quiet neighborhood. Having the outside patio table and umbrella and the privacy was quite special. We wished we had planned to stay longer.

There were great patio spaces to spend some time in, with extensive landscaping. Maria served an exceptional breakfast and was very accommodating. Relaxed and quiet evening in a beautiful house.
