(swimming area), small shop in the Sao Mateus, nearby winery, house itself was the most peaceful and enjoyable stay of our azores trip :) apartment has everything, even small first aid kit! The landlord was very kind and helped us a lot. The delivery of the fruit basket was so timely, the freshly baked bread, the delicious red wine was amazing! The geographical location of the house is too good, in front of the sea behind the volcano, the best location for viewing, we drive around the island, here I think is the best location, we have the honor to see the leather Pico mountain, and the sky full of stars!
