Lishan House was an amazing place to stay! The view of the lake and mountains was incredible but the best part by far were the hosts! Definitely opt in for the dinner. These were the freshest and most authentic vegetarian meals I had in Taiwan. The ladies were very lovely and we had the best time communicating through a translator app.

It was spacious and everything we need is catered for, eg kitchen ware, coffee maker, filtered water. The entire villa is well maintained and clean. When we needed help, the landlord came over very quickly and assisted us. Overall a very pleasant stay for a group of 5 in the lovely villa!

El Stray Birds Taichung Hostel se encuentra en Taichung. El Kuangsan SOGO Dept. Store y el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de Taiwán están cerca. I stayed in the hostel for 3 nights and really liked the general vibes. Everything was clean and modern, spacious bed, AC in the room, clean and "comfortable" showers, great common area with eating space + chilling area + meditation area. Also huge plus for the cute smiling cute and the kind staff! Also good location, in the middle of the main attractions points and just next to bus stops (also lots of shops around, with a 7/11 in front).

We were thoroughly impressed by everything—the prime location, fantastic amenities, and the incredibly kind host! The homestay is conveniently situated right next to Splendor Hotel and The Six Market Mall, making shopping and dining a breeze. Within just 3–8 minutes on foot, you can reach a famous breakfast spot, enjoy local braised pork rice (lu rou fan) by 11 AM, or grab delicious ramen, Sukiya, and more. Everything you need is within walking distance! Fully Equipped & Comfortable: The homestay has everything you could possibly need—a washing machine with dryer (plus detergent provided!) made my trip so much easier. The host truly thought of every detail—just bring your toothbrush! The space was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The owner deserves special praise for being extremely responsive, attentive, and helpful from the moment I made payment until checkout. He went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay. His kindness and quick replies made the experience even better! If you’re looking for a well-located, fully equipped homestay with a fantastic host, this is the place to book! Highly recommended—I’d definitely stay here again!
