One of the highlights was the Swahili night, featuring fantastic local dishes and an unforgettable acrobat performance. We also treated ourselves to a relaxing massage during our stay— just what we needed after our safari adventures. Although not beachfront, the resort is just a short walk through Jambiani village to the sea, or you can take a shuttle to one of their partner beachfront properties, which are equally well-designed and welcoming. That said, we actually preferred the peaceful charm of the Oasis itself. We’d come back in a heartbeat—and in fact, we’re already planning our return in 2026!

Such a beautiful place with impeccable decor, every comfort available! My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beachfront villa. The property itself is a dream - large outdoor living space, your own pool, and the beach just steps away. The inside had all the modern amenities including a minibar - soft drinks were free and replenishable as well as a large variety of teas. We lived the amazing breakfast spread each morning served to our villa, staff were very helpful and friendly, Riccardo and the kitchen staff were always available. We loved having lunch and dinner options available from the kitchen and we were pleased with the food when we chose to have it. It was also very easy to walk to local restaurants along the beach which were delicious and low cost. Many activities are bookable through the villa and we even availed ourselves of the massage therapist. It was also super helpful to be connected to a driver not only for airport transfers but also to get around the island. I will definitely return!

Guests at the villa can enjoy a continental breakfast, and breakfast in the room is also available. You can make your own food in the kitchen before eating on the private balcony, and Chunga Changa also offers a coffee shop. Very comfortable, clean. Amazing interier design. Good pool. Thank you for making our stay unforgetable. We would choose Chunga Changa again, if we are back.

First time I stay at a place that is actually better than the photos! Absolutely incredible place, our best in Zanzibar by far. The villa in perfectly maintained, the chef’s food is best we had so far. Ralu and Lee and very welcoming. Really really recommend.

The property is located away from busy touristy areas, it’s a heaven for relaxation , super clean, ocean view, direct access to the beach (due to tides it is not suitable for swims but paddling is ok ) villas are spacious and in a lovely garden setting with a large pool and loungers The staff are very attentive they offer an exceptional top quality breakfast We also had dinner at the restaurant every night and the food was excellent The manager on duty when we were there , Nevena, was the best she was attentive, kind, made us feel welcome and special

The little garden is very well taken care of, the whole location is very well maintained (pools cleaned daily). The restaurant is very nice and has a cute terrace with a beautiful view. The breakfast is amazing; you have a few choices, but they are very generous and delicious. The food at the restaurant is good and reasonably priced. They sometimes have entertainment and special menus for dinner. The rooms are very spacious, with direct access to the private pool and terrace, which was the highlight of our stay here. The staff is also very friendly and made our stay here even more enjoyable. You can also get massages at the location, there is a designated place with a massage table.
