Breakfast selection and quality was absolutely amazing, room was spacious, and fully equipped with what we need and more! Facilities were better than expected, you cannot miss its swimming pool, sauna, morning yoga sessions, and also the location of where it is located right across Traunsee. We also managed to kayak on our last day, it was absolutely breathtaking.

Absolutely great accommodation, when we arrived were beautiful warmth in the tiled stove👍 There is a stream running around which is great for a morning hardening up. 300 meters down there is a pub connected to a butcher shop, great beer and ribs. The owners are very friendly with lots of good advice on hiking routes. We were so happy we stayed longer. Really excellent.

THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. Very clean, spacious, well decorated room with good taste. The location is very convenient. Parking could be a little tricky, but we managed to find a free space to park nearby in summer season.

The hosts were very friendly (to us and to our dog :)) and were happy to recommend activities in the area. The studio was fully renovated and comfortable (also in the winter), we loved the alpine style of the furniture. A lot of outdoor activities were readily reachable (skiing, langlaufen, snowshoe hiking,...), and although the house was on the outskirts of town, all roads were cleaned within a couple of hours of snowfall.
