It was an extraordinary experience. As a couple exploring the Grindelwald region for the first time, we were absolutely captivated by this accommodation. Choosing a room with a view allowed us to wake up to a stunning panorama every day, and I highly recommend it. The location is centrally positioned, providing excellent access to nearby villages and hiking activities. The room quality, food, staff, and the hotel’s aesthetic were all impeccable. The underground parking was a nice bonus. The hotel kitchen was delightful. 10/10. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay here again. We already miss it!

My family stayed for four nights. Unfortunately, I got sick on the first night and was in bed for the three days of our stay. I can tell you the beds were extremely comfortable- even after all that time! The kitchen was perfect when we couldn’t go out. I felt like it was my home by the time we left. If I had to be stuck in a hotel for days- this was the one!

The 125-year-old Hotel Gletschergarten with its magnificent mountain and glacier view is personally run by the 4th and 5th generations with a lot of commitment.

We had a wonderful stay at hotel Gletschergarten and the view to Eiger is simply amazing. The room was very comfortable. We liked very much the atmosphere in the hotel and its story, a truly mountain hotel.We will return to this hotel, for sure.

One of the highlights is the 800m² 'Fire and Ice Spa,' which includes multiple saunas and an outdoor whirlpool. This spa area was definitely a favorite during my stay. - Rooms: The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with modern amenities. I particularly appreciated the Nespresso coffee maker, daily restocked minibar, and yoga mats. For those looking for a touch of luxury, some rooms come with private saunas and fireplaces. - Dining: Dining at the on-site restaurant, BG's Grill, was a delight. The breakfast and dinner offerings were excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality food to choose from. - Service: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The whole surrounding view only belongs to the guests after the cable car shut. The staff Shara is very helpful. Remeber to bring your own shampoo and shower gel when using the shared bathroom. You can ask gondola staff to send your luggage down to the station , then do those adventure activites as you like.

The Eiger Lodge Easy is located at the foot of the Eiger North Face, between the Grindelwald-Grund Train Station and the Termina - Eiger Express. Free WiFi is available in the common areas.
