Este hotel de 4 estrellas de gestión familiar está situado en el centro de Bad Reichenhall. This was my second stay at this hotel. The first stay was in October 2024. As usual, the staff was stellar. Every request and inquiry was acted upon with a cheerful smile and prompt efficiency. They delivered 100% especially when I needed it the most. The hotel is situated across the street from the Bad Reichenhall Bahnhof (train station). No worries since the hotel has excellent soundproofing. The public areas along with the room itself were immaculate. The bathroom had all the expected amenities including hair dryer, soaps and a towel warmer. The A/C runs well and can be adjusted. There is an Aldi supermarket and a store specializing in health products and cosmetics nearby. An Italian pizza restaurant is across the street (order the spinach and salmon pizza), and a Bavarian restaurant is a few blocks away. The Avalon is a family-owned and run business so you get that special attention you can’t get at a chain hotel. I highly recommend this property.

Location, Room, Service… everything was Perfect. Actually, I’m speechless how was good to stay there. Wake up in the morning and see the mountains and the cows with the Bavarian bells, unforgettable. Also have the option to choose which kind of bread you would like to have in the morning, eggs from the region… everything was so delicious.

Fewo Watzmann, que tiene vistas al río, ofrece alojamiento con jardín y patio a unos 23 km de Fortaleza Hohensalzburg. Everything is excellent. Good host, good location, room size, facilities and plus with a very good bakery under the building. Variaty bakery and coffee. No any niose from outside. The Host is helpful. Moreover we got guest card for free transportation. I travel from Austria to BTG which I can save the bus fee from the border of germany to BTG. Goody!!
