I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

The host Les is vibrant and full of energy. We had a great breakfast. It feels like a cottage from a Jane Austin novel.

Kilmuir Cottage se encuentra en Tomintoul, a 16 km de Castillo de Corgarff y a 23 km de Club de golf Abernethy, en una zona donde se puede practicar ciclismo. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Lovely quiet location. Would love to come back again sometime.

Lindas Retreats Self catering accommodation 1 bedroom cottage or 3 bedroom House se encuentra en Tomintoul, en la región de Grampian, a 43 km de Castillo de Balmoral. Litererally everything you could need of even think of while self-catering was provided. And I ve been in a few. And what a fine and lovingly decorated place apart from that! Access and communication was done remotely but the host was always swift to reply and very helpful. Was lucky enough to enjoy some warm and sunny weather which was also good to enjoy in the garden after a long hike on the hills and with a splendid view on the hills to boot.

Braemar Lodge Cabins Not for profit está en Braemar y dispone de wifi gratis, restaurante, bar y pista de tenis. We visited here with our 2 dogs for 5 days. It's very pet friendly and we look forward return visit. It's a short walk to the local shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.
