Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Me & my husband stayed for one night in the twin room with private hot spring bath. This huge room was very beautiful and cozy, clean & well equipped with different amenities (tea, kettle, mini fridge, yukatas, large tv with a Super Nintendo etc.). Just as promised in the listing. It was so lovely to enjoy the private onsen in our room, nobody to disturb us and no rush. The wooden tub fits two people well, even when sitting side by side. The window above the tub can be opened, the view is to a parking lot/other hotel. We had access to the hotel’s three other private onsen baths aswell and could use them whenever they were free, but we liked to stick to the one in our room. The location is excellent, there are some convenience stores nearby & you can walk from the bus station in about 10 minutes to the hotel. There are also some restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Eidaya and would definitely love to come back sometime! It was such a wonderful little escape from bustling Tokyo.

BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn is gelegen op 47 km van Jigokudani Monkey Park en 15 km van Mt. Kusatsu Shirane, en biedt kamers in Kusatsu. Location, staff, kitchen/common area and the private onsen. Parking lot was plenty. The hostess let us check-in early even though we arrived relatively early. The rooms were traditional style with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Minakami Onsen Aratashi Minakami is gelegen in Minakami, op 33 km van Skiresort Gala Yuzawa, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis privéparkeren en een restaurant. The room is very spacious, the facilities are brand new and clean, and the soundproofing is excellent. The private bath outside the room is fantastic; it was snowing on the day of my stay, making the snow bath very enjoyable. The staff is incredibly friendly to foreigners, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Although I don't know the name of the staff on that day, the service was excellent.

Oyado Yukizumi ligt in Kusatsu, op 46 km van Jigokudani Monkey Park, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. De accommodatie is rookvrij en is gelegen op 14 km van Mt. Fantastisch hotel met perfecte locatie tegenover station en achter de Lawson. Super vriendelijk personeel en mooie kamer. Gedeelde onsen.

Kusatsu Hotel Bekkan Wata no Yu (Adult Only) bevindt zich in Kusatsu, op 45 km van Jigokudani Monkey Park en 14 km van Mt. This place was incredible, perfectly located, huge room with a nice view. The onsen /sauna in the hotel.i great. Most importantly is how I was welcomed and treated by Miki, the owner. A homemade pudding was waiting for me . I highly recommend this place!!!

Minakamisansou is gelegen in Minakami, op 36 km van Skiresort Gala Yuzawa, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. We had a lovely view of the mountains. The private onsen was very nice, but the public onsen is very good as well! The staff is very nice and always accomodating. If you like traditional Japanese food, you'll love what they serve during the evening and morning. I recommend to stay at this ryokan either during fall (momiji) or winter. We were a bit too early for the heavy snowfalls, but still managed to catch some snow the second evening. Even without the snow it was lovely. I can imagine it looks amazing with the fall colors!

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. Everything! Wonderful staff, 4 private onsens, great products, free to borrow Yukatas, really cute breakfast and welcome snacks, big room(s), location is right in the middle by Yubatake, room was excellent and had private bathroom (but no shower, but that's by design in onsen towns).

Houshi Onsen Chojukan ligt aan de rivier Houshi, en biedt een openbare warmwaterbron, accommodatie in Japanse stijl, gratis WiFi en een Japanse keuken. This place was magical! It was everything we expected and much more! The rooms were impeccable, the pool beautiful and historic, the meals were truly exceptional, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, the site is historical and it was covered in snow when we arrive. We will definitely recommend it!

Offering views of Tanigawa-dake Mountain, the peaceful Japanese rooms at Bettei Senjyuan include a private hot-spring bath and traditional futon beds. It’s like a Wow - everything about it is like a wow! That yogurt tho - A1 Ask for extra

Kane Midori ligt op slechts 3 minuten lopen van de beroemde warmwaterbron Yubatake en biedt massages en eigen warmwaterbronnen. De Japanse kamers hebben futonbedden en een westerse badkamer. Kanemidori is a beautiful ryokan just steps away from Yubatake and central Kusatsu. The room was enormous and absolutely stunning traditional tatami room. We got to enjoy new yukata designs each day of our trip, and the quiet and beautiful baths were almost always empty when we visited them. The staff didn't speak much English, but we were able to communicate everything necessary. They even came to the car when we arrived and took our bags! It was a lovely and relaxing experience.
