Not too far from the Zao Onsen Ski Resort, only an hour away by highway, and good onsens in the area. We were given meal voucher tickets when checking in, and ate good at the local restaurant for dinner. Houses were clean and check in was easy.

Great facilities. So many ways to enjoy a night in. The night cap was such a lovely touch. The breakfast... WOW. I've never seen such a large, variable, and delicious selection. My only regret is not staying longer.

Amazing experience at Sensatei. The value for money is amazing especially the service from the exceptional staff. I felt we were very tired and demanding guests, asking lots of questions, being a bit dramatic after lots of traveling, but they were so patient, lovely and accommodating. The view was amazing, over looking mountains and the river. I never got tired of it! The Onsen is fantastic as well. Over the 4 days we were there, i went 4 times! Worth the stay and will make the track from Australia again!
