I’ve been staying at Urasa Cottage for a couple of days, and I must say I truly felt at home. The host is very friendly, and the house is quite new and clean. It’s also not too far from the station. I already miss it ❤️ I’ll be back soon~

The location near the ski bus stop was ideal, the breakfast was a perfect start to each day, and the accommodation was spotless. But what truly set this place apart was the heartfelt hospitality of the hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. They ensured we had all the information regarding transportation. Their generosity extended to offering us rides, making our stay incredibly convenient.

Pension Moomin Papa está en Myoko, a 31 km de Templo Zenkoji y a 33 km de Estación de Nagano, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, jardín y salón de uso común. When I arrived at Moomin Papa I immediatly felt home. The place is located in a little Onsen town full of chalets and covered in snow, it’s litterally like in a fairytale. I had a dorm but since the place wasn’t busy I had a room to myself. The room was super cozy and really warm, so really confortable. Contacting the host was super easy through the app, they are quickly replying and are making sure everything is allright, all the time. The onsen was a big plus, I really enjoy relaxing in it after a long day skiing. Also, the breakfast was amazing and when I told them I was vegetarian they adjust the menu for me. I really enjoyed my stay, Moomin and Papa are lovely people. I would come back anytime.

El Belle Vue Nishiura se encuentra en Minami Uonuma, en la región de Niigata, a 3 minutos a pie de la estación de esquí Ishiuchi-Maruyama, y ofrece acceso directo a las pistas de esquí y... I arrived at the closest station at around 8pm and it got so dark. Usually I would take care of myself, but I saw the photo list poster of the criminals at the station and there was just no one on the street. I texted to the owner that I was scared walking to the hotel, then the owner drove to pick me up immediately. I felt very thankful for that. The hotel was comfortable, clean and with a mountain View. There was also an onsen in the shower room. Free tea and coffee in the large dining room, which also have a pretty view. I enjoyed my stay very much.

El Maruyama Onsen Kojyokan ofrece terraza y baño de aguas termales y se encuentra en Minami Uonuma, a 2 km de la estación de esquí Maiko Snow Resort. Hay aparcamiento privado gratuito. The people at the resort. All of them were absolutely wonderful - warm, helpful and congenial. Also, the room, the ski-ing and view - Exemplary.

El Yuzawa Grand Hotel se encuentra a 2 minutos a pie de la estación de tren de Echigo Yuzawa y del Museo del sake. Ofrece 3 baños públicos, servicio de masajes y aparcamiento gratuito. The food at breakfast and dinner was varied and exceptional. All of the dishes I tried I liked , and they had a nice variety of western and Japanese. The room we had was huge and very comfortable. The onsen facilities were excellent, and very well kept. We are skiers and this hotel was very well setup for skiers. They have locker rooms for storage as well as changing, and on checkout day you can leave all your luggage , go ski, come back and change and then leave. But what makes this hotel a standout is the staff. I speak limited Japanese but had no issues communicating with the staff either speaking directly to them or using google translate. They are kind, patient and will do anything to help you. On checkout day, we went skiing and came back at 11:30 and needed to use the courier service taqubin which is conveniently located inside the hotel gift shop. However, we failed to notice beforehand that the shop takes a close break from 11:30 until 3:30 and our train leaves at 3;15. We were very stressed but the lady who runs the store and handles the courier said no problem, she would stay open just for us and give us time to change out of our ski clothes ,repack our ski gear and come back. It took us longer than we thought to repack and change because we had some trouble locating the ski bag as it was behind the counter in long storage. It didn’t matter, she still waited and when we finally finished she patiently helped us with the forms and everything was handled . When we left again for the station we had some time to wait so we purchased some small sweets and went back to give them to the staff as a thank you for all their exceptional efforts and help with our stay . They seemed genuinely surprised and happy and then walked out to wave us goodbye! How nice and a great happy surprise for us! We cannot recommend this hotel enough and we will be back someday.

El Shosenkaku Kagetsu está situado a solo 5 minutos a pie de la estación de tren JR de Echigo Yuzawa y dispone de alojamiento de estilo japonés y 10 baños termales de diseño exclusivo. El hotel es excepcional. Nosotros nos fuimos de una escapada de Tokyo para ir a esquiar y queríamos tener la experiencia de un hospedaje muy al estilo japonés. El hotel supero nuestras expectativas. Desde que nos recibieron, el personal es muy amable y servicial, tienen dulces japoneses y bebidas gratuitas disponibles en la recepción, incluyendo Sake. La habitación era supremamente espaciosa, un apartamento completo con dos baños, dos cuartos, salón de té, algo muy raro en Japón donde todos los hospedajes son diminutos. Tienen servicio de Onsen gratuito y tienen uno al aire libre espectacular. También tiene la opción de uno privado por un valor adicional. Lamentamos mucho habernos quedado solo una noche en este hotel, lo repetiría mil veces.
