The house is so thoughtfully designed and with such good taste. Everything is super clean and tidy yet very cozy and it feels like home. The shower rooms are wonderful, the rooms are spacious, the kitchen has absolutely everything and all such good quality. We stayed two nights and visited the world heritage sites nearby. You can get to Ainokura walking 30/40 minutes. The others are reached by bus and the bus stop is right in front of the house. You have a supermarket 2 blocks away, two bakeries from Which I totally recommend the bread / doughnut with red bean paste and the cakes. We also had a wonderful dinner in one of the restaurants. The host was so kind and attentive to every detail. I totally fully recommend staying here. Wonderful experience!

Perfect location to see the area. The owner is a kind soul and stayed with me during the evening so i wouldn't be all alone. Overall, the whole place was gorgeous. I highly recommend you check it out!

De vriendelijkheid en de behulpzaamheid van de familie. De dochter bracht ons spontaan met de auto naar Ainokura, wat ons bezoek enorm vergemakkelijkte. De bedden waren heel comfortabel, lekker warm tijdens een frisse, regenachtige nacht. Het optionele avondeten was verrukkelijk! Ook het ontbijt was fantastisch. Het publieke bad was klein maar deed enorm deugd. Dankjewel voor jullie gastvrijheid! Een absolute aanrader! Wel op voorhand goed nadenken over het vervoer. Wij waren afhankelijk van de bussen, informeer je bij de toeristische dienst van Gokayama. Ideaal gelegen om de UNESCO Gassho-dorpen te bezoeken.

Gokasanso ligt in het warmwaterbrongebied Gokayama en biedt accommodatie in Japanse en westerse stijl met een flatscreen-tv. The stay was relaxed and rejuvenate, ideal location for those looking forward to relax and enjoy hot spring with traditional Japanese food. Hot spring experience is amazing.
