The staff is very nice and helps out with everything. They even re-heated unasked the sauna after the diner when they saw us in the hot tub. The food is very good and we felt very comfortable. The place was spacious, cozy, and had everything we needed. The host was really nice. We loved spending time on the terrace right above the water and enjoyed Kafé Marifjøra, which is very close.

The house was perfect in every way—cozy, beautifully maintained, and with the most stunning views over the mountains and lake. Waking up to this scenery felt like a dream. The host Jarle was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home, adding a personal touch that made our stay even more special. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we truly hope to return one day. Highly recommended to anyone visiting this amazing part of Norway!”

Trollstova beschikt over uitzicht op de stad, en biedt accommodatie met een terras en een balkon, op 13 km van Kaupanger Stave Church. Very nice house close to the bus station. Some reviews said that there were no blinds and was missing a hair dryer but when I got there, all windows had blinds/curtains and hair dryer was stored in the bathroom. Overall, it was really pleasant to stay here.

We stayed only for 2 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful, well maintained, and has an amazing view. It was super clean and had all we needed, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of towels. Beds were very comfortable, which is important to us. Also, you can completely darken the rooms, another big plus. The communication with hosts was perfect. They are very thoughtful and provided a list of attractions, restaurants, and hikes in the area. That was really useful since the area has so much to offer and it helped us choose the activities for our limited time there. We went to Briksdalsbreen glacier. The house is near a ski resort, so it must be a great place to stay in the winter. We highly recommend this house and the hosts.
