Everything was fantastic, can't fault a single thing about this hotel. The setting at the restaurant is what dreams are made of. As we sat down to have lunch on our first day there was a sloth climbing down a tree with the volcano in the background.

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views.

Location overlooking the Arenal volcano. Great thermal pools where you can relax and admire the volcano. The property has its own small garden where you can see butterflies, birds and other animals as well as a variety of flora - a big plus. Breakfasts with a lot of choice. However, it is a typical resort, so there are a lot of guests, although the pools were not crowded.

This is an amazing place! The houses are scattered through the grounds, so your only neighbours will be hummingbirds and monkeys. The room was spotless clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need, including a small stove and some essential ingredients (oil, salt, pepper, coffee). The gardens are beautiful, with wonderful views of the volcanoe, frog ponds, a small labyrinth, and several shaded seating areas. Best of all, there are a few trails leading through the forest, one of which goes by a small waterfall in which you can bathe. As it is on private grounds there are not many people around, I had the trails all to myself. I absolute loved it and would have stayed longer if I could!

Great service, amazing food with many ingredients grown at the same facilities (eggs, fish, coffee, etc.). Comfortable rooms and a feeling of contact with nature. I loved to fall asleep with the sound of the river at night.

We loved everything about this hotel. The rooms are superb, spacious, comfortable and quiet (apart from the wildlife, ear plugs provided!). A complimentary stock of the bar was welcomed! I would highly recommend the yoga lessons and the use of the spa and the pool bar. The staff are fabulous!

This is the best resort i have stayed for the past few years and i travel extensively. Staffs are very kind and sincere, not overwelming for an introvert. My dome is very beautifully designed, spotless inside and out. Not to mention their holistic approach on the whole syntropic farm, three meals at the restaurant are farm to table. I saw sloths! toucans! on so many hikes by myself and with guides. All informative hikes.

The staff here were amazing. They were always so helpful and polite and very patient with explanations. Everyone customer-facing spoke excellent English. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a large shower. Each room stands alone and has a small table outside with a view of the volcano (can't miss it!). The best thing is the bar/spa/hots springs area... Wow! Awesome pools with hot spring water and mini waterfalls. There's loads of wildlife milling around (hundreds of birds and lizards including giant iguanas and we even saw armadillos).
