A chain hotel. Freshly renovated. The room was clean and comfortable though it could be bigger. The bar was a pearl and barman was exceptional. It would be great bonus if they would have a restaurant.

We stay here more than 10 years. We love the place. Location is fantastic. Close to A5 and city centre. You can live in the forest but very close to the city centre. Direct access to the thermal bad. Friendly personal. Good restaurant with open air terrace. Good breakfast. Highly recommended.

The breakfast and all the meals at the hotel were truly excellent. I would encourage people to stay at this hotel for the food alone, but the staff were all courteous, effective and helpful. This is a fine example of a fine family owned hotel with excellent food. The location in a pretty village about 12 miles from downtown Freiburg was very good for walking and enjoying the open air life.
