This property exceeded expectations. To be connected to the beach was just fabulous and so glad we booked JUST outside of Heraklion which I found to be quite underwhelming to say the least. Here you had the tranquility of being seaside. The staff are exceptional - Katerina on the front desk was so helpful as was Nikos their Porter. Katerina in the restaurant was also warm and engaging. We had low expectations for the all inclusive breakfast and dinner but there was so much variety and dinner was excellent. Yes it gets busy but there always seemed to be a table ready to go and waiting was minimal. After dinner our particular stay they had a violin player at the beach bar who had backing music to such artists as Adele, Bryan Adams etc and you could take your drink go lay on the beach beds under the stars and listen to the music as the waves crashed against the shore: it was one of the loveliest nights of my trip. She was excellent and added such beauty to modern music. The pools are fab and there are cute things such as darts, table tennis and I believe yoga classes. Loved it being adults only also - pure bliss ! I would definitely re book

Our hotelroom was very comfortable and very clean. The interieur design of the room has a modern atmosphere and was exactly like shown in the pictures. Toilet and shower were separated, which gave us a good comfort. I liked the black style of the bathroom. There are many different light options in the room, so you can create an atmosphere as you want. The black curtain darkens the room very good, so it’s easy to sleep in darkness. Finally the room was very clean, they took a lot of care to keep the room clean. The area (restaurant, pool area, gym) is very clean too. The pool has a good size for swimming or getting a refreshment by hanging around in the water. There are sunbeds in the shade or sunbeds in the sun, giving you the opportunity to choose your place as you need. We just booked breakfast and we were completely confident with the things they offered for breakfast. It’s very fresh and they change the offered food a little daily. The best at the hotel was the staff! The women working at the reception, in the restaurant or the room service were excellent, helpful and absolutely lovely. The area around the hotel is supreme too. You just need to walk maximum 2 minutes to get to the beach (a long sandy beach, where you can easily enter the sea to swim or cool down). There are many shops and different restaurants, which you can reach by walking. The bus stop is maximum 2 minutes walk far from the hotel. The bus takes you in approx 15 minutes to the center of Heraklion.

We had a wonderful stay at Agapi Beach Resort. Our room had recently been renovated and offered a lovely view over the sea and the hotel’s outdoor lobby area — it was clean, comfortable, and felt very welcoming. The food was excellent throughout our stay. The main restaurant impressed us with its variety and themed evenings, and the à la carte options provided a great alternative in more intimate settings. We’re also very grateful for the opportunity the hotel gave us to experience a traditional Greek taverna — Petousis — as part of the all-inclusive package. It was a thoughtful touch that allowed us to enjoy a more local atmosphere just a few steps outside the hotel. What truly made the experience special was the kindness and attention of the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and we particularly appreciated a hotel manager, who was always present and greeted guests warmly with a sincere kalimera or kalispera. The young animation team also deserves a special mention for their energy and positivity. We also really enjoyed the beach right in front of the hotel. While sunbeds and umbrellas are quite common in Crete, what makes a difference here is the space — everything is well distributed, without the usual overcrowding, making it much more pleasant to relax. The chance to go kayaking was another highlight for us. Sending our warm regards from Portugal. Thank you for such a great stay — we truly hope to return!

The huge terrace with the view to the mountains, city and the sea. (beware though that the bells from the cathedral are quite loud, start early and finish late ;) ) Spotless room, comfortable bathroom, all fresh and new. PErfect location to explore the city by foot.
