We loved everything, this is probably the nicest hotel we ever stayed at. We were there for our honeymoon and the staff are just the sweetest, kindest you will ever meet. Genuinely made our stay the most wonderful it could be. They were just so accommodating and lovely without being overbearing. I wish I remembered all of their names, but Ardi was amazing, as was his colleague whose name I can't remember - always smiling, always so kind. But apart from that the hotel is simply gorgeous. Even more beautiful than expected. The room was huge, felt very private, beds super comfy, everything extremely clean, we had our own balcony, breakfast was just amazing, and the setting by the river is magical. We also really liked the peace and quiet after having stayed near Kuta before. In terms of location, this is perfect for exploring Sanur, doing some snorkeling, but also for Ubud, Gianyar and Sukawati. We actually loved that it was a little off the beaten track, traffic was so much better than on the west coast. And bonus, we loved the night market in Batubulan which is right next door by scooter. We rented a scooter with help from the staff which I think is needed to get around, but everything was very easy to reach with our little scoopy. We also did a back massage at the hotel which was amazing and very reasonable in price, completely worth it. Although our room didn't have a private pool, we were allowed to use an empty room's pool, which goes to show how accommodating the staff were. They made us feel so special and pampered. We wish we'd stayed there longer in hindsight, but we'll be back :)

Easy 5-stars for such an incredible stay. We slept at the Umah Nik Homestay for 6 nights but could have stayed forever. The house, the room and the property are gorgeous. Facing luscious forest, you will have and hear nature at your doorsteps! We felt very welcomed by the whole family, that made us feel like at home! Nyoman is an excellent guide and full of ressources when it comes to make you discover the local community, traditions and culture. Don’t hesitate to say yes! Ani and the women of the house are bringing such a warm feeling to your stay, making the best Nasi Goreng for breakfast or just saying good morning with their big smiles. The property is located on the outskirts of Ubud, which can be tricky for some, but was wonderful for us. Kadek is always here either to drop you off somewhere, or to hand you the keys of their scooters which gives massive freedom to discover Bali all day and come back to a cosy home at night. Would come back over and over again and definitely recommend it further!

This stay was incredible! The house is even more beautiful than on the pictures. The pool overlooking the rice fields is perfect. The location is great if you want to avoid Ubud crowded and noisy streets - only 20 min by scooter from Ubud city center and very central to explore the different sightseeings. But most importantly : Made contributed greatly to make this stay unforgettable. She is the nicest! The breakfasts she prepared for us were delicious and she will arrange anything you need (scooter rental, Balinese massage etc)

The room can’t comparable with others in Bali I stayed. It’s big enough for 2 people. The swimming pool and dinning area was stunning. If you want to get out of tourist spots, this is the place. There are many beaches nearby. You can rent a motorbike here.
