Amazing and luxurious hotel. Spread over a large area with a large lobby and seating area. Huge rooms decorated in a traditional and modern style. The hot Onsen bath on the balcony is great fun especially on snowy nights like the one we spent. Excellent breakfast - a large selection with dishes from Japanese and Western cuisine. Great staff that provides professional, friendly and pleasant service.

Hakone Suimeiso is located a 3-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station and a 15-minute walk from Sounji Temple. It offers public hot-spring baths, free parking on site and free Wi-Fi access.

The property is spacious and luxurious. We liked the way the buildings are connected and the common places. There was one place were could enjoyed unlimited drinks and snacks. The decoration was warm and cosy, helping us relaxing more. The facility offered free transport from and towards Gora station which made it easier to reach. Our room was just as the photos. We had plenty of space, comfy beds, many free amenities, yukatas and more. The staff was friendly and very polite. If we knew that our experience would be so amazing, we would have stayed another night.

Everything was beautifully presented, the dinner was definitely a highlight, and the views, quiet surroundings, and absolutely delightful library was top notch. I could have spent many more days reading and soaking in the serenity! The thoughtfulness of the dinner and breakfast, we were provided the story of each dish, made it greatly more enjoyable.

Everything in this place is beautiful. Very peaceful and calming cottages with welcoming staff. They tailored our needs and always available to help. We had an exceptional time at Fukuzumiro. It really felt like stepping into a traditional Japanese inn. The room was big, the onsens were an amazing way to relax after having visited Hakone all day. Dinner was absolutely amazing, with a lot of variety and traditional Japanese food. A special thanks to Akiko, our room attendant, who was incredibly nice, spoke great English, and explained everything to us. Fukuzumiro is lucky to have her!

I had a lovely stay at this traditional Ryokan. The personal don’t speak lots of English but everyone was so kind and ready to help me when I had questions. Dinner and breakfast were really good. The bed was comfortable. I booked the private outside bath and really enjoyed the experience. Experiencing a traditional ryokan like that is definitely a must to do when visiting Japan
